Distillery Tour

We offer guided tours of the distillery on both weekdays and weekends, open to everyone. The tour is designed to take you inside the production area, giving you a close-up look at how whisky is made.

Our distillery makes whisky with a distinctly Shizuoka character, in a facility that blends into its natural surroundings and makes extensive use of locally sourced Shizuoka timber.

See the unique features of Shizuoka Distillery, including equipment relocated from the former Karuizawa Whisky Distillery, the world’s first fermentation tanks made from Japanese cedar grown in Shizuoka, and our pot stills heated by wood fire—believed to be the only ones of their kind in the world.

In our warehouse, thousands of casks filled with maturing whisky await you.
