Tour
Distillery Tour
Discover every stage of whisky making on this guided tour of Shizuoka Distillery.
Lasting approximately one hour, tours are available on both weekdays and weekends.
Scheduled to coincide with local bus services, the tour makes it easy to visit without driving and enjoy a whisky tasting afterward. Drivers may purchase take-home tasting bottles instead.

Tasting from the Cask Tour
Enhance your distillery tour with an exclusive warehouse cask tasting.
Our staff will use a traditional valinch to draw spirit directly from the cask and pour it for you, so you can compare two cask-strength whiskies.
Sampling whisky in the warehouse where it continues to mature is an unforgettable experience.
If you discover a favorite, you can fill your own bottle straight from the cask and purchase it as a unique souvenir.

A two-hour whisky experience combining a lecture, a highball-making workshop, and a distillery tour — perfect for those who are new to whisky.
Discover the basics of whisky production, its history, the differences between whisky and other spirits, and how to enjoy whisky at home.
Held in a nostalgic mountain schoolhouse, a former junior high school located near the distillery, this warm and welcoming setting offers a unique place to begin your whisky journey.
Production Basics Course

A comprehensive two-day program for those who want to explore whisky making in greater depth.
You will go beyond the regular tour and experience the work of our distillery team firsthand — from feeding firewood into our direct-fired pot stills to hand-washing our wooden fermentation vessels, two features that make Shizuoka Distillery unique.
At the end of the program, you will fill your own bottle of new-make spirit to take home. This rare hands-on experience offers a deeper understanding of whisky and a new appreciation for every sip.
