GAIAFLOW SHIZUOKA DISTILLERY sits deep in Oku-Shizu, a protected mountainous corner of Shizuoka rich with nature. Underground water flowing down from the Southern Alps nourishes this land, eventually joining the great Abe River on its way to Suruga Bay.
Surrounded by wildlife and the changing beauty of the four seasons, our whisky matures slowly, nurtured by everything this land has to offer.

On our guided distillery tour, you’ll experience every stage of the whisky-making process up close. Our knowledgeable staff will introduce the unique production methods that make Shizuoka Distillery truly distinctive.
You’ll also visit our warehouse, where rows of casks quietly mature into future whiskies. After the tour, you can enjoy a selection of whiskies at our tasting room for an additional fee.
Tours are available by reservation and require a participation fee (free for guests under 20 years of age). Please book through our online reservation system.

Our single malts include “United S,” which embodies the house style of Shizuoka Distillery, and the “Pot Still” series, which expresses a diverse range of flavors through differences in wash still and barley origin.

“Private Cask,” our original program that lets you reserve an entire cask of your own.
We also produce distillery-exclusive releases, limited editions, and original bottlings for special events.
